I run a website for Activity Director’s (AD)who work in Assisted Living Facilities. These group of people are very passionate about their work. They want the residents of their facilities to have the best quality of life possible. AD’s work very hard to find activites that will keep resident’s & their family members active, involved in the facility/community, alert & empowered. Resident’s meet friends that they have things in common with & it is proven that resident’s involved are less depressed & take less medicine. Please consider AL when the time comes for you to make a decision for your loved one. - Pennie Bacon, Activity Directors Network, Livingston, TX

Our family feels so much better now that we know our Mom has the help that she needs. We can’t put a price on that peace of mind. —Steven H., Sunrise Senior Living, Omaha, NE

I can’t believe how helpful the staff is at my Mother’s community. When my brother and I visit her, we get an overwhelming sense that the staff loves our Mom. She is getting the care she needs and the attention she deserves. I am tremendously grateful to staff at her community. They’re doing God’s work and I want the world to know it. —Trishelle J., Brookdale Senior Living, Brookfield,WI

My grandma was my primary caregiver after my Mom passed away. She taught me how to love people and honor life. I’ve been working in an assisted living community since I graduated high school and I love my job. Serving others and working with seniors is what I want to do for the rest of my life. —Jackson A., Emeritus Assisted Living, Attleboro MA

My Dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Diseasewhen he was 82. I knew it was time to sell the house and move him into a long term care situation, but I hesitated because I felt like I was abandoning my father. I felt so guilty. Now, my father is flourishing in assisted living. The staff is attentive to his needs and he is eating a healthy diet. I feel like my Dad is in a great place.
